A diary is a personal record where we write our thoughts, experiences, and feelings. It is like a friend who listens to everything without judging. Diary writing is an important part of English grammar and writing skills because it helps students express themselves clearly.
In Class 7, diary writing is introduced to make students practice good sentence formation, correct grammar, and creative writing. It improves vocabulary, helps in organizing ideas, and builds confidence in writing.
For Class 7 students, diary writing is very useful because it makes learning English grammar and build foundation for higher classes. By writing regularly, students will learn how to use tenses, punctuation, and expressions correctly. It also helps them develop a habit of self-reflection and improves their overall writing skills.
Diary Entry is like talking to a best friend on paper. In Class 7, we learn diary writing as part of our English grammar and writing skills. It is a place where one can express his/her views, write about your day, your feelings, and even small secrets that you don’t tell anyone.
It is not only the diary entry concerning the experience of writing events, but also regarding the way you felt on a daily basis. E.g. when you performed well in a test, write about how happy you are. In case you have a bad day you can write about what you worry about in the diary.
In exams, we have to follow a proper format – date, day, time, “Dear Diary”, content, and signature. It is simple, but it teaches how to write clearly, use correct tenses, and improve writing style.

Today was one of the most exciting days of this year. Our school organized a picnic to the Nehru Science Museum. We boarded the bus early in the morning and sang songs all the way.
